Acting Class: Scene Study - Voice and Movement. Word Images assignment

I've been taking acting classes at Railtown Actors Studio in Vancouver. We were all given a scene from a play to perform with a partner. The play we are working on is called ''This is our youth'' written by Kenneth Lonergan.

One of our assignments was a Word Imaging collage we had to make. The goal is to go through the text and associate images to certain words or sentences that provoke something in you.

I used real images for the Era, environment and props.

For parts of the text I decided to paint images. Inspired by one of my favorite books calls ''Picture This - Perception and Composition'' by Molly Bang

Here is the script for the scene and the images I associated with parts of the text

''That's Ok''

''I Cant' Have Brunch''

''Huge fight with my Mom''

''Well Thanks for Canceling in Person...''

''Do you want to make a plan for any time this week?''

''All Right''
''I'm Not.''

''No -- I guess I just don't understand why you would...''

''There's nothing to be sorry about''

''Did you tell Dennis what Happened Last night?''

''I said we had a nice time''

''I'm not really into that...''

''Well... Ok... It's just --- This is getting a little weird now....  Because when I talked to....''

''Umm.. so.. I d'ont really get.. You're mad at me because you lied to Valerie?''

''Whoa!''

''I didn't fucking rush off Anywhere!''

''And the minute I walked through the Door, he like totally grilled me!''

''What People? What are you talking about?''

''You're not anything!''

''Going out with you''

''It's a fairly effective combination''

''Why? I'm sitting on twelve thousand dollars. Ill buy you a sports car, OK?''

''I can't believe it!''

''Well, you look totally miserable.''

''No you weren't''

''NO! GOD DAMN! What do you want me to do!? Like Beg you to take it from me???''

''Do what ever...''

'' Well... That would be up to you.''
